TOTTENHAM PROJECT - BATHROOMS — Belynda Chen Interiors

We are so excited to introduce our Tottenham Project. We had the pleasure of designing two bathrooms for this family where we could give each room a different vibe, one for the children and another for the adults, while fitting in their needs and styles.

CHILDREN’S BATHROOM

The children’s bathroom is small, but we were ready to make a big impact! When working with a more limited amount of space, we wanted to give it a more open feel and arrange it to be organized and functional.

After being in quarantine for a long time, the urge for our clients to have change in their spaces has only become more common and bringing in a fresh look with functionality and warmth is something these two boys could use. It was a pleasure to redo this bathroom for our young clients.

BIG IMPACTS WITH SMALL SPACES

This space is a perfect fit for the expression “small but mighty”. The warm tones and pleasant contrast in this bathroom do a great job at brightening the space.

SIMPLE, YET AMAZING FEATURES

In this corner of the boy’s bathroom, you can’t go wrong with simple black fixtures and mixing them with a neutral taupe tile. The black details are consistent through the bathroom, creating a contrasting effect, keeping the room put together and polished.

MAIN BATHROOM

Welcome to the master ensuite! Just like the other bathroom, we opened up the space and increased functionality. Using the same footprint, we were able to transform it into one you could describe as calm, serene, fresh, modern, and the list goes on!

GREAT FROM EVERY ANGLE!

The aesthetic can be seen through and through in this master bathroom. The bright and simplistic colour palette stays consistent through the tiling, paint, artwork, and decor, which add in the muted cool and warm tones that work together perfectly. Simple enough to not look too busy, but still bright and detailed enough to be interesting and functional.

And we can’t forget to make an honourable mention to this elegant shower, serving the clients much better than the bathtub that was previously there.

HIDDEN AND ORGANIZED STORAGE

One of the items on my clients wish list was to keep their laundry basket which was previously a stand alone basket under the cabinet. It has now been upgraded to a laundry drawer which can remain well disguised, out of sight and functional. Absolutely love this hidden gem!
